Antique Baby Silk Christening Cape Embroidered Net Lace Doll Coat
From a Florida estate,  this is a gorgeous Victorian? era cape for baby or dolls.  It's made with fine lightweight silk and a deep, embroidered net lace flounce collar.  The color is light beige or ecru
.   It ties at the collar with a bow and extra long ties,  the body of the cape is made with a double layer of silk and is hand stitched  at the seams.
Measurements;   Width just below the shoulder area is about  11  inches,  shoulder to the bottom of the hem is about 35 inches long .
It's in good vintage condition,   There are two spots with stains which are shown,  and a few spots with a tiny hole or thin spot.  They are hard to find because of the double layers and I may have missed some.    I haven't laundered it  .
