This connector supports audio and general circuit uses, it utilises an aluminium shell therefore it is lightweight.

could be confused with the
XLR 6 11C
also made by Cannon, the ‘6A’ has a slightly offset contact arrangement the ‘6’ does not, and they are not interchangeable!
Features
The satin surface finish does not reflect light it has been applied to prevent diffusion caused by illumination or outdoor lighting.
The vibration-resistant structure is designed to withstand severe environments, such as filming locations, sound studios etc.
It utilises synthetic rubber for the socket insulators (female side) for dampening vibrations and noise.
A one-touch lock latching method is utilised to enable simple connector mating and removal.
These come with a full assembly and usage instruction sheet, see photographs.
